PRICELESS PONIES CLUB

Week 1:
The first week is a ground lesson teaching safety first.  During this first lesson we concentrate on grooming techniques, saddling and bridling.  Club members will learn some of the anatomy of the horse as well as parts of the saddle and bridle.  We focus more on acquainting the students with the terminology rather than expecting them to memorize it.

Week 2:
Your child will be introduced to TONY the PONY.  Tony is a large rocking pony with real stirrups and a working bridle complete with removable bit.  This is a safe, fun and unique way to introduce the young child to riding.  At the end of this session your child will ride a real pony for a short time.

Week 3:
This is the week that each child will have the opportunity to pet, hold and feed a variety of clean and tame barn yard pals.  We will learn some interesting facts about the animals and end this session with a related craft.

Week 4:
Priceless Ponies Club members again get to ride a real pony and will begin to learn the basics of balance and control.

Week 5:
Members will participate in a "Pony Pampering" session where they will work in teams spray painting and decorating a live pony.  We end this session with a pony parade held in the Priceless Ponies arena.

Week 6:
This is the last of our sessions.  Each child will have a turn riding a pony this week.  Be sure to bring  your camera as your child will want to show off what they have learned during the previous weeks.


PRICELESS PONY PALS
Designed for the very young rider as an introduction to horse back riding.  Riders will learn the skills needed to advance to basic horsemanship classes


BASIC HORSEMANSHIP
This class is for the rider who has completed Priceless Pony Pals and is ready to advance to a class that will prepare him or her to become an
independant rider


IINDEPENDANT RIDER
Learn the skills neccesary to ride all by yourself.  Class participants will learn the sitting and posting trot by the end of the session.


SUMMER PONY CAMP
Week long fun for the child who cannot get enough of everything horses.  Snack, crafts, water play and of course pony riding is all a part of this fun packed adventure


HOLIDAY & SPRING PONY CAMP
Same as summer pony camp but no water play.  Instead campers will create specially themed holiday or Spring crafts.


COWBOY CAMPFIRE NIGHTS
Enjoy a taste of the old west complete with marshmallows roasted over an open fire.  Sing along with an authentic guitar playing cowboy to some classic western tunes. Fun for the whole family.


PONY PLAY DAYS
Fun awaits you on Pony Play Days.  Each month a new and exciting program is offered. Spray paint and decorate a real live pony.  Learn to communicate with animals.  Join in on some old fashioned western fun.  It's all here at Priceless Ponies.  Check Pony Play Day page for times and costs.
